Gareth Davies MS visited Commscope at their manufacturing plant in Bodelwyddan to see how this local employer are leading the way in developing the communications infrastructure of the future.
Staff gave the local MS and his team a tour of their facility and explained how the firm were utilising cutting edge research and techniques to improve the UK's communication landscape.
The company, which employs hundreds of staff from the local area, outlined their plans for expansion and their commitment to the local workforce.
Commenting on the visit, Gareth said;
"As the UK Government push ahead with plans to improve our digital communications infrastructure, its heartening to learn that this local employer is at the forefront of the digital revolution.
"The cabling developed, tested and manufactured here in Bodelwyddan will be installed all over the nation, delivering faster internet connections not only allowing us to stream the latest Netflix series in UltraHD but enabling advances in tele-medicine or online learning.
"Commscope are a fantastic local employer and I am pleased that their expansion plans will ensure their presence here in Bodelwyddan for generations to come."
