Gareth has this week recorded a show for Glan Clwyd Hospital’s radio station, Radio Glan Clwyd, which will be broadcast on 8th November, time TBC.
Gareth commented following the visit:
“As a music lover and music nerd I was delighted to have had the chance to take part in an interview with DJ Barry Dale on Radio Glan Clwyd and pick four of my own tunes.
“The segment will be broadcast on 8th November which is community radio day, so tune in to hear me discuss my time working in the NHS, which included a long stint at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, my work now as a Member of the Welsh Parliament, and to hear which songs made the final cut. I will confirm the exact time of the broadcast on social media.
Back in the day, Radio Glan Clwyd was broadcast on 1287 MW/AM for many years, and the mast that projected it is still there today. The station has a long history and now has a team of 8 dedicated volunteers and 9 committee members. They cater to all music tastes, and prove to be hugely beneficial to patients, lifting their mood and aiding recovery.
Modern technology has caught up and it is solely an online service now. Listen live anytime, 24/7 by downloading the app on the App or Play Stores.”
