Gareth Davies, Member of the Senedd for Vale of Clwyd welcomes Carer’s Week which runs from 5th-11th June 2023.
Commenting on Carers Week, Shadow Minister for Social Care in the Welsh Parliament, Gareth Davies MS said:
“I want to pay tribute to carers for all the hard work they do across Denbighshire and North Wales – paid or unpaid, they deserve our respect and admiration, but also our support.
“Let us take the opportunity of this week to celebrate and appreciate everything that people in the care community do for our loved ones.
“Nevertheless, it continues to disappoint me that people don’t recognise the sheer hard work and dedication of those working in the care sector. It’s crucial that we celebrate this, but also raise awareness of the satisfaction and positive benefits of working in the care sector.”
