Gareth Davies, Member of the Senedd for the Vale of Clwyd, had the opportunity to celebrate the coronation during a debate in the Senedd.
As Wales's longest serving Prince of Wales, he dedicated his entire adult life to raising our nation's prestige and promoted Wales as a nation rooted in history. Gareth said:
''I am sure that his Majesty will continue this service. We are fortunate that the King's firm beliefs in conservation and the environment will be at the forefront of his agenda and will strongly benefit Wales, due to his love of our landscape and preserving our great countryside''.
Speaking during the debate, Gareth was eager to highlight the efforts people throughout the constituency are making to show their support to King Charles III. He proudly said:
'We have shown that monarchy and the royalist tradition is part of the history of Wales, and republicanism is not part of who we are. The statute of Rhuddlan established the modern concept of Wales and began the process of our union, and my constituents are celebrating their deep, historical connection to the monarchy by hosting several parties and events''.
''In Prestatyn, a music festival, Coronation Rocks, will bring people together in music, and in Denbigh a tea party will show the best of Britishness. I'm pretty sure that there will be more examples of more parties across the constituency''.
He ended his contributions in the Senedd by proudly saying, 'God Save the King'.
