Speaking during a Welsh Conservative debate in the Senedd Vale of Clwyd MS, Gareth Davies, has called for a robust Cancer Strategy which addresses workforce shortages and provides support for patients, from diagnosis to treatment.
Gareth highlighted the fact that the Welsh Government does not have a complete cancer plan which addresses the shocking shortages in clinical oncology. He pointed out the fact that issues predate the pandemic and as a result of Welsh Government failures, Wales had some of the lowest cancer survival rates in the Western world.
