Addressing a Plaid Cymru motion in the Senedd, Vale of Clwyd MS, Gareth Davies urges Senedd Members to support the bill in order to protect future Welsh elections from fraud.
During the debate Gareth accused Plaid and Labour of whipping up fear, uncertainty and doubt in order to distract from their failures to maintain public services in Wales.
Speaking after the debate he said;
"If an organisation such as The Office of Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, a body which observes elections around the globe, tells us our elections are wide open to fraud, who are we to argue."
"The Conservative-led UK Government have taken steps to secure Westminster elections. Sadly our elections in Wales remain vulnerable."
"Unfortunately Plaid Cymru and their Labour puppet masters are determined to keep it that way."
"My colleagues and I will continue to fight for fair and open elections in Wales, however, we should be spending time debating more pressing issues, such as the dire state of our public services in Wales."
