Gareth Davies MS, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Vale of Clwyd is urging his constituents to have their say on the future of Denbighshire County Council Services.
Denbighshire County Council are re-thinking how they engage with residents. They want to give people living in the county a greater say in how they develop and run services. To that end they have launched an online survey and will be running online engagement sessions during September.
Commenting on the exercise, Mr Davies said;
“We all rely upon the council for a variety of services from the schools educating our children to the care homes caring for our elderly relatives and everything in between.
“Residents don’t often get much say on how these services are run or how new services are developed so it’s refreshing to see that Denbighshire Council want to change that. They want to give the public a greater say in how the council spends their council tax.
“The online survey at https://countyconversation.denbighshire.gov.uk/project/524 will allow residents to have their say and sign up for online focus group sessions on 7th & 8th September. I would encourage everyone to take part.
“It’s your council and it should be delivering the services you want in the way you want them delivered. This can only happen if you make you views known.”
