Gareth Davies MS for the Vale of Clwyd celebrated Small Business Saturday by visiting several local small businesses across the constituency.
During the day, Gareth visited the Applecart Fruit and Veg shop on Prestatyn High Street, C.L.D. Meats on Denbigh Industrial Estate, and the Glass Onion Café, Back Row, Denbigh. He was pleased to speak to small business owners to hear their concerns regarding cost-of-living challenges, the Welsh Government’s approach to small businesses and what he can do to support their business.
During the visits, Gareth commented: "we have some fantastic small businesses here in Denbighshire and it was a pleasure to visit just a few on Saturday to sample the best of what our area has to offer’’.
‘’Small Business Saturday is now in its 10th year and gives a platform for all small businesses to promote what they do best in the run up to Christmas, and it's so important that we support our small businesses as once they're gone they're gone, and with rising bills and costs of living it's more important than ever that we visit and spend some of our money in what are the backbone of our local communities’’.
‘’I'd encourage everyone to eat, drink and shop local this Christmas’’.
