For years North Wales has been left behind by the Welsh Labour Government when they distribute funding from Cardiff. Denbighshire Council is responsible for providing many of the services we rely on every day and thanks to the lack of funding from Cardiff there is an impact on our communities.
Lloyds Banking Group has today announced the closure of 136 bank branches across the United Kingdom affecting Lloyds, Halifax, and Bank of Scotland branches. One of the affected locations is the Halifax branch in Rhyl which is earmarked for closure on 23rd September 2025.
