The Marian Resort & Spa in Dyserth received significant investment for a refurbishment of the whole site after coming under new ownership in 2019. Gareth was eager to visit the site following its re-opening to see tour the fantastic luxury lodges, boutique hotel rooms, and spa facilities, as well as to support the tourism industry in the local area.
They have an entirely new spa onsite with 4 treatment rooms offering every type of massage, with loungers overlooking a spectacular vista which includes the Great Orme. The resort also features a fine dining restaurant - The View, a bar, swimming pool, and a gym which opened last month.
The Marian Resort seeks to invite guests to learn about Wales and open their mind to new Welsh experiences, also using local products in their spa treatments, and a selection of Welsh beers, wines, and spirits in their bar and restaurant.
Gareth was also keen to learn how he can better support the tourism industry as a politician, and to ensure that Denbighshire remains an attractive destination for tourists and businesses alike.
"It was a pleasure to visit the Marian Resort and Spa in Dyserth which has undergone a striking transformation following its renovation.
"It's encouraging to see investment in the tourism industry in the Vale of Clwyd and I am proud to champion the sector."
