Sky’s Bubble Tea, which opened on Market Street in Rhyl last year, is the only signature bubble tea shop in the area offering a unique range of bubble tea selections, bringing the authentic flavours of Asia to North Wales.
Bubble tea, or Boba tea, is a Taiwanese beverage that is created by blending tea with milk, fruit or fruit juices, then adding tapioca pearls before shaking vigorously. The Bubble tea craze has taken off across the UK, but Sky’s is the first dedicated Bubble tea shop to open its doors in Rhyl.
Vale of Clwyd Senedd Member, Gareth Davies, paid a visit to Sky’s and tried their Yakult series fruit tea with a cherry pearl topping. Sky’s also offer a variety of Jasmine-based fruit teas, and Assam-based fruit teas.
The shop has a growing customer base and boasts excellent reviews. Sky’s Bubble Tea have recently joined the Just Eat delivery app, with a 4.9-star rating and a 5-star food hygiene rating.
Gareth said of his visit:
