Gareth Davies, Senedd member for Vale of Clwyd, visited the Tŷ Gobaith shop in Denbigh last week to meet with volunteers to learn how they support the charity which provides support to children with life-threatening conditions and their families.
He will soon make an in-person visit to the Tŷ Gobaith Hospice and see the wonderful work that the hospice does for children and families across North Wales.

Following the visit, Gareth said:
“It was a real pleasure to meet the staff and volunteers at the Tŷ Gobaith shop in Denbigh and see how the community contributes, ensuring that the charity can continue to provide the invaluable care and support they offer to children with a life-threatening condition and their family.
“They are dependent on your generosity to fund these vital services, and every pound spent, or item donated means they can continue to support people during the most challenging of times.
“I’d like to thank the team at Tŷ Gobaith in Denbigh, and I’d encourage everyone to support the Hospice, whether by volunteering, donating, or by purchasing goods in their shops.”
Simi Epstein, Director of Income Generation and Communications at Tŷ Gobaith added:
“At Tŷ Gobaith, we know that children with life-threatening conditions and their families are suffering and too many get support too late or not at all. That is why we must reach every child with a life-threatening condition and provide them and their family access to professional care and help them to lead their best life from the point of diagnosis.
“Our shops play a huge role, providing a presence in the community and raising vital funds for the hospice. Last year, with the support of our local community, our shops raised a phenomenal £1million which is paying for the care we are providing right now.
“This year, we need help more than ever and we need good quality donations, volunteers, and shoppers! Come and see us on Denbigh High Street and see how you can help us make a difference to local children.”
